Three Countries in Two Weeks

Where will you go if you have two weeks to enjoy a European sojourn? This is a tough question to answer given so many possible destinations to choose from. While many travelers manage to squeeze in as many European countries as they can in one trip, fourteen days do not offer much time to see more of every place along the way. A visit to three countries like France, Belgium, and the Netherlands is a good start to a best two week vacation in Europe. And here are just some of the reasons why.

Shorter travel time. You can get to Amsterdam from Paris by train in just a little over three hours. And if you are planning to explore beyond Brussels in Belgium, you can take a train to Bruges and other cities in less than two hours. Imagine all the places and attractions you can add to your itinerary because you do not have to spend several hours traveling to get from one country or city to another.

The must-see sights. Three countries may not seem like much when you have two weeks to travel across Europe. But wait until you realize just how many must-see sights you may have to miss out on in each country for lack of time. In Paris alone, you need at least five days to cover as much as you can of the city’s popular attractions. Not to mention other French regions and cities begging to be explored. Belgium and the Netherlands likewise offer so many fascinating places to see that you would need at least two days for every city on your itinerary.

What To Do Around Europe

What To Do Around Europe

europe

Let’s face it.

We all desire to visit Europe someday.

Whether you’re seeing famous tourist attractions in London or experiencing tasty gourmet dishes in France, there’s no shortage of places to go and things to do around Europe.

That being said, aside from sightseeing and food tripping, here’s what to do around Europe:

Pub Crawling

Europe is not just known for its tourist attractions and gourmet dishes. It’s also known for its uplifting spirits – and yes, in the form of meeting new people over drinks via pub crawling.

Some of the best pub crawling locations around Europe include Dublin, in which the Backpacker Pub Crawl is done – complete with 1 tour guide, 1 free Guinness, free club access, and free shots for every pub visited (6 in total); Galway, in which the Viking Pub Crawl is done – complete with 1 tour guide, 1 free Guinness, free entries, and free shots for every pub visited (4 in total); and Prague, in which the Drunken Monkey Pub Crawl is done – complete with up to 3 tour guides, a shuttle bus, pre-games with unlimited drinks, 1 free t-shirt, free accesses, and free shots from every pub visited (3 in total).

Rail Tripping

If you think trains are just meant to take you to another place, think again!

In Europe, trains are not just considered means of transportation. Trains are also considered means of seeing more of Europe, as well as experiencing more of Europe – the kind of scenic views you won’t find anywhere else, as well as the kind of overwhelming emotion you won’t find anyplace else. Some of the best places to go rail tripping on includes St. Anton am Arlberg in Austria, Zermatt in Switzerland, Cinque Terre in Italy, and West Highland Line in Scotland. Don’t forget to bring a good backpack (e.g. Osprey Cyber backpack) as you trudge along on the way to your destination.
